On Wednesday 26th June Wedmore Hosted the County Patrons match against Hertfordshire Bowling Association Patrons. Following the match it transpired that Elvis had been playing incognito for Hertfordshire and he entertained the audience of players and spectators. Just goes to show that Bowls can be surprising and a great deal of fun. The aim of the Patrons in each county association is to support and promote Bowling and to look after the welfare of others less fortunate. The day was a huge success and a big thanks goes to all who made the day so special – particularly Elvis (aka Don).
Dave do you think you could send the photo and your comments to the Isle of Wedmore News because I think they might be interested to include it in the magazine. It would also be good advertising for the club.
